Individual, Couple/Family, and Group Therapy
Trauma-informed Care
If EMDR, CPT, or EFT/EFIT modalities are not the right fit for treatment at the time of your intake session, we also provide other therapeutic offerings to address trauma symptoms and acknowledge the role trauma may play before engaging in a trauma-focused treatment. These services focus on supporting readiness to engage in trauma processing and addressing current symptoms and/or unhelpful behaviors that may occur as a result of traumatic life events.
These services include:
Therapeutic Groups focused on providing psycho-education, CBT skills, boundary setting skills, ERP skills for OCD treatment, treatment for insomnia (CBT-I), anxiety, chronic pain & yoga to support regulation of the nervous system
Individual therapy that addresses symptoms of anxiety, depression, and negative coping skills that have resulted from unresolved past traumatic experiences and/or events
Evaluation and treatment of co-occuring anxiety disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Agoraphobia, and other Phobias with Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
Somatic Interventions including yoga/mindfullness/meditation groups
Post-treatment and follow-up groups and support
Psycho-education and Support Groups for family and friends
Evidence-Based Treatments Offered
Why Evidence-based Treatment Matters
Attending therapy can be expensive and time consuming. As healthcare providers, we want to make sure that we are offering the right treatment for the symptoms and conditions our clients are experiencing. Evidence-based therapies are treatments that have been researched, validated, and have clear direction for the therapist on when they are likely to help, how long they should take, and when a client should be referred for different treatment.
