My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be a safe, compassionate base where you can reconnect with your authentic self and process deep-seated emotional patterns. My practice integrates psychodynamic insights with polyvagal theory and mindfulness, attending to how physiological state influences emotional regulation. By tuning into both bodily sensations and underlying cognitive dynamics, we will work collaboratively to process past trauma, foster safety within your nervous system, and build long-term emotional well-being.
Who I Work With
As a second-generation Iranian American, I bring an intimate understanding of multicultural identities to my work. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to explore early childhood relational wounds, navigate chronic stress, and address challenges related to culture, identity, trauma, and grief. Together, we will create an inclusive, affirming environment to foster self-compassion, deepen self-understanding, and support meaningful personal growth.
